May 23, 2019

Dubai Miracle Garden is a flower show extravaganza which is spread across a 72,000 square meter area and open from November to Mid May of every year. The eye capturing garden located in Dubailand is known for being the world’s largest flower garden and was opened for viewing on Valentine’s day 2013. The name miracle garden is apt for the display as even with the desert climate of Dubai, it is truly a miracle that the garden portrays an array of colors and figurines flourishing in the period it is open.

The mesmerizing flower garden has not only captured the hearts of the people but also has bagged three Guinness World Records consecutively in 2013,2016 and 2018. The first record was received for being the largest vertical garden in the world.  The garden then went on to grab another record for having a spectacular installation of 5 million flowers on the Emirates A380, which is the largest flower installation in the world. Furthermore, it bagged another record as recent as 2018 for having the largest installation of the Disney character Mickey Mouse in a topiary floral theme.

The prosperity of the garden is because of its ability to be constantly improved with more installations, figurines, flowers or sculptures to further stimulate the visitor’s eye. Within the span of 4 years from the date of initiation, the garden has installed 6 new and creative versions to foster an ever-growing interest to come back in the minds of the visitors. This proves to stand in favor of the average of 1.5 million visitors the garden received every year. Regardless of the size, Dubai Miracle Garden uses a drip irrigation system to cultivate a sustainable and lasting feature.
